Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), through the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (FAI), successfully organised the two-day Train-the-Trainer (TTT) Infineon PSoC® 6 Board Programme on 13 and 15 April 2026, with participation from MIMOS Berhad, Mindmatics Sdn. Bhd., and academic researchers.
Sponsored by Infineon Technologies under the UTM–Infineon Memorandum of Agreement, the programme was conducted at the UTM–Infineon Innovation Launchpad (UIIL) Laboratory to strengthen technical competencies in embedded systems, IoT, and future AI-enabled edge technologies. Participants gained hands-on exposure to the PSoC 6 Board, including microcontroller architecture, dual-core processing, ModusToolbox development, GPIO, UART, interrupt handling, inter-processor communication, CapSense, and Wi-Fi integration for IoT applications.
Building on earlier training with public universities, this initiative reflects UTM’s commitment to academia–industry knowledge transfer, talent development, and collaborative innovation, while preparing researchers and industry partners for future work in intelligent and connected systems.
