Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), through the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (FAI), successfully organised a two-day Training of Trainers (TTT) Infineon PSoC™ Edge E84 AI Kit programme on 4 and 6 May 2026 at UTM Kuala Lumpur, involving 15 academics from UTM Kuala Lumpur.
Conducted by Infineon trainer Pong Chi Leong, the hands-on programme aimed to strengthen participants’ competencies in Edge AI, embedded systems, and IoT using the latest Infineon PSoC™ Edge E84 AI Kit platform. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of deploying AI directly on edge devices for faster processing, lower latency, improved data privacy, and real-time intelligent decision-making, while also exploring sensor integration, IoT communication, and lightweight AI implementation. Supported by the UTM–Infineon Innovation Launchpad (UIIL), the programme reflects UTM and Infineon’s ongoing commitment to industry-driven talent development, academic training, and innovation in embedded AI and intelligent systems.
