Cyber-physical systems (CPS) and Internet of Things (IoT) are close modern concepts and meta-technologies which become more and more important and challengeable for critical domains such as traffic control and safety, advanced automotive systems, intelligent buildings, environment monitoring, smart energy management, intellectual transport, health systems, etc. CPS integrates the dynamics of the physical processes with those of the communications, computation and networking, and analysis techniques for the integrated systems.

The explosive growth of the “Internet of Things” is changing our world and the vast amount of IoT components allows engineers to innovate new designs and products at home and industry. In this workshop, you will learn the importance of IoT in society, the current components of typical IoT devices and trends for the future. IoT design considerations, physical and cyber security, constraints and interfacing between the physical world and IoT device will also be covered.
Please do not miss this rare opportunity to learn to design and create IoT solution on Raspberry Pi platform. This workshop will cover a hands-on approach in configuring IoT sensors, gateway and cloud in a lab-setting environment.
