Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), through the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (FAI), successfully organised a two-day Training of Trainers (TTT) Infineon PSoC\u2122 Edge E84 AI Kit programme on 4 and 6 May 2026 at UTM Kuala Lumpur, involving 15 academics from UTM Kuala Lumpur.<\/div>\n

Conducted by Infineon trainer Pong Chi Leong, the hands-on programme aimed to strengthen participants\u2019 competencies in Edge AI, embedded systems, and IoT using the latest Infineon PSoC\u2122 Edge E84 AI Kit platform. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of deploying AI directly on edge devices for faster processing, lower latency, improved data privacy, and real-time intelligent decision-making, while also exploring sensor integration, IoT communication, and lightweight AI implementation. Supported by the UTM\u2013Infineon Innovation Launchpad (UIIL), the programme reflects UTM and Infineon\u2019s ongoing commitment to industry-driven talent development, academic training, and innovation in embedded AI and intelligent systems.<\/div>\n
