Dr. Siti Sophiayati Yuhaniz<\/a><\/h2>\n

MLDS Group Head<\/em>
\nDr. Siti Sophiayati Yuhaniz is a Senior Lecturer at Advanced Informatics School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM AIS). Currently, she is the Program Coordinator for MSc (Business Intelligence and Analytics) and the Head of Machine Learning for Data Science Group at UTM AIS. She received her PhD from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom in 2008, in the area of Image Processing On-Board Small Earth Observation Satellites. She is currently active in the research field of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing and Big Data Analytics. Other than working in the academic world, she is also involved in several research projects with industries, such as Cybersecurity Malaysia, Astronautic Technology Sdn Bhd and Sapura Group.
