Mohd Azuddin Parman has 19 years of various IT industries experiences. Currently, he is the Principal Engineer for MIMOS Berhad, and also heading the Kernel Development Lab under National Security Department. Azuddin has experiences in the System Development projects covering domain areas such as network security, system security, embedded application, web security and data warehouse. Azuddin has been appointed as the consultant for PDRM on c4i project starting from 2014 until now. He has also involved in multiple Malaysia Government Transformation projects especially on Public Safety and Enforcement Agency.
Dr. Poo Kuan Hoong is a Data Science practitioner and currently serves as Senior Manager Data Science at Nielsen Malaysia. Previously he was attached to Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Multimedia University for the past 15 years. His research area spans peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, High Performance Computing, Distributed Systems and Big Data Analytics. Besides that, he is interested in algorithm design and performance modeling of various distributed systems based on a variety of theories, including optimization, graph theory, and network coding. He is also interested in extensive measurement, analytics and statistical study of large-scale data, to explore problems and derive insights towards their improvement.
Dr. Siti Sophiayati Yuhaniz is a Senior Lecturer at Advanced Informatics School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM AIS).
Currently, she is the Program Coordinator for MSc (Business Intelligence and Analytics), the Head of Machine Learning for Data Science Group at UTM AIS and also an associate member of UTM Big Data Centre.
William is the first Data Scientist hired by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and is a Manager in the Big Data Analytics (BDA) Initiative unit. His role is driving the BDA talent and industry development to make Malaysia a regional BDA hub by 2020.
Nuhaa currently is with SEEK Asia as a Senior Research Engineer. She has more than 10 years of experience in the industry. With background in application development, she eventually found her passion in data analytics and machine learning. She is also one of the instructor of the Data Science Primer course held at MaGIC. Nuhaa graduated in applied mathematics from USM and holds a masters in information technology from UKM.
Ghazal is software research engineer at SEEK Asia (JobStreet). Her role is developing and building machine learning models to integrate intelligence into products. She is also PhD candidate at Faculty Computer Science & IT, University Malaya
Alireza is a graduate research assistant at UTM MLDS. His research areas are Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning. He is also curating a weekly newsletter on Machine Learning and Deep Learning at mlweekly.com
