IoT is the inter networking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity that enable these objects to collect and exchange data. At the same time the traditional models and techniques used to provide fault tolerance are aimed to ensure high average performance and, therefore, are inadequate for adaptation in real-time designs.
